Itya vs Metaview
The Itya team · Updated · 8 min read
The short answer
Choose Metaview if you want a broad, well-funded agentic recruiting platform: AI screening that is live today in 18 languages, sourcing, a SOC 2 Type II report and more than 100 ATS integrations. Choose Itya if you want structured interviews on one rubric, published self-serve prices per workspace with unlimited teammates, and INR billing with GST. Run both on one live role for two weeks before you sign.
The short answer
Metaview and Itya both turn interviews into written evidence. They are built for different jobs. Metaview calls itself "The Agentic Recruiting Platform": agents for sourcing, application review, screening, notes and reports, plus fillmore, an autonomous outbound coworker. Itya is a structured interview platform: one rubric per job, used in every interview, with scorecards and debriefs that quote the transcript.
- Pick Metaview if you want one vendor across the top of the funnel, AI screening you can switch on this week, many languages, a long integration list, or a SOC 2 report for procurement.
- Pick Itya if your problem is the interview itself (inconsistent questions, late feedback, debriefs on adjectives), you want to read every price before a sales call, or you bill in rupees.

Where Metaview is the better choice
On several counts that matter to buyers, Metaview is ahead today. If any of these is a hard requirement, start with Metaview.
- AI screening you can use now. Metaview's September 2026 update says Screening "is now live in every workspace" and that "your first 25 candidate screens are on us". The Screening page describes a voice agent that asks follow-ups, scores every call against your rubric and flags answers that are likely AI-assisted. Itya's AI interviewer is not live yet.
- More languages. Screening lists 18 languages, including Hindi, Arabic, Japanese and Mandarin. For notes, a Metaview post last updated in August 2024 says it "supports 50+ languages". Itya publishes no such list.
- Far more integrations. Metaview's integrations page lists more than 100 applicant tracking systems, from Greenhouse and Lever to Workday, SAP SuccessFactors and iCIMS, plus Webex. Itya connects to four ATSs.
- Phone and Webex. Metaview's help center covers phone calls as well as Meet, Zoom, Teams and Webex. Itya does not list phone calls or Webex.
- Sourcing and the wider funnel. Sourcing, Application Review and fillmore cover work Itya does not do at all: finding candidates, outreach and booking screens.
- Security paperwork. Metaview's security page states it is SOC 2 Type 2 compliant. Itya has no SOC 2 report or ISO 27001 certificate. If your procurement team needs one, Metaview clears that bar and Itya does not today.
- Scale and backing. Metaview announced a $60M Series C on 30 Sep 2026, led by Insight Partners, taking total funding to $110M. It names Deel, Affirm, Navan and Replit as customers and plans to grow from 80 to 250 people.
Where Itya is the better choice
- A price that does not grow with your panel. Itya prices per workspace, with unlimited teammates on every plan. The hiring manager, six interviewers and a recruiter cost the same as one person. Metaview's published prices are per user, and its full platform is quoted. Our pricing-model explainer shows when each model is cheaper.
- Prices you can read first. Every Itya plan up to Business has a published monthly price and self-serve checkout on the pricing page. On Metaview's pricing page, only Sourcing shows prices we could read; the platform is "Custom pricing".
- One rubric, everywhere you interview. Itya starts from competencies and an anchored scale for each job. The same rubric drives notes in Meet, Teams and Zoom and in Itya's own browser room, so candidates on different channels are scored on the same terms. Debriefs cite the transcript moment behind each claim.
- Billing in India. Itya charges in rupees plus GST (₹4,999, ₹9,999 and ₹19,999 a month) and has a grievance route under India's DPDP Act. Metaview's published prices are in US dollars.
- A focused interview tool, not a funnel suite. If you already source well and your weak point is interview quality, Itya does that one job and you pay only for it.
How to evaluate both in two weeks
Demos show the best interview a vendor has ever recorded. A trial on your own role shows the average one. Here is a plan that fits in two weeks.
- Write the rubric first. Pick one live role and four to six competencies, each with an anchored scale. Our interview kits are a starting point. Load the same rubric into both tools.
- Record five to ten real interviews in each. Ask candidates for consent, and split similar interviews between the tools rather than running two notetakers on one call.
- Audit the evidence. For three claims in each summary, find the transcript moment that supports it. Count the claims you cannot trace.
- Test screening where it exists. Metaview's first 25 screens are free. If you hire in Hindi or another listed language, run screens in it and read the transcripts yourself.
- Ask candidates one question. "Was anything about this interview unclear or unfair?" Read every answer.
- Check the ATS round trip. Confirm scorecards, notes and stage changes land where your recruiters work.
- Price your real panel. Count everyone who will interview this quarter, then get Metaview's quote for that number and compare it with Itya's plan for your volume.
- Send the security questionnaire. Ask for the SOC 2 report or DPA, the subprocessor list and the deletion process, and test one deletion request.
What we could not verify
We could not read a price for Metaview's Notetaker or for Screening after the first 25 screens on its pricing page on 10 Oct 2026. Ask Metaview for both. On our side, Itya does not yet publish a list of interview languages, and its AI interviewer is not live.
If your bottleneck is the interview and you want a price you can read today, start a free Itya workspace from the pricing page and read our trust page before you upload a single recording. If you need sourcing, screening in 18 languages or a SOC 2 report this quarter, Metaview is the stronger fit, and we would rather you knew that now.
Questions people ask
- Is Metaview free?
- Partly. As of 10 Oct 2026, Metaview's help center describes a Notes Free plan with up to 25 calls a month, its September 2026 update makes the first 25 candidate screens free, and Sourcing has a Free plan covering the first 100 profiles. Paid Sourcing is $100 or $300 per user a month; the full platform is custom-priced.
- Does Metaview support Hindi?
- Yes. Metaview's Screening page lists Hindi among 18 screening languages, and its notes language post lists Hindi among more than 50. Test transcripts in your own accents and dialects before you rely on them.
- Does Itya have SOC 2?
- No. As of 10 Oct 2026 Itya has no SOC 2 report and no ISO 27001 certificate. It offers a data processing agreement, a subprocessor list, a DPDP grievance route, and SSO and SCIM on the Business plan. Metaview states it is SOC 2 Type 2 compliant.
- Which is cheaper for a large interview panel?
- Itya's price does not change with the number of interviewers: Starter is $99 a month and Pro $199 a month for any number of teammates. Metaview prices Sourcing per user and quotes its full platform, so ask Metaview for a quote at your real headcount and compare.
- Does either tool make the hiring decision?
- Both say a person decides. Metaview's Screening page says only a human decides who to progress or reject. By default, Itya's AI recommends and a named person confirms; it never rejects anyone automatically, and its optional automatic shortlisting is off unless you turn it on.
